Jess Jones
Clinical Director | Owner & Founder
Impact Family Services & Impact Enterprises Australia

Jess is the founder of Impact Family Services, a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, and Clinical Director. She brings over 25 years of experience working alongside children, families, and carers across Out of Home Care, disability, and the NDIS, along with her own lived experience as a parent of a neurodivergent child.

Jess studied Psychology at Massey University and has worked across New Zealand’s Youth Justice system, as well as Out of Home Care services in New Zealand, Queensland, and New South Wales. Over the past decade, her focus has been on behaviour support, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice, early intervention, and supporting families in ways that are practical and fit into real life.

In her role as Clinical Director, Jess provides clinical guidance, supervision, and quality oversight across the team. She is focused on keeping practice clear, consistent, and grounded — making sure it is ethical, neuroaffirming, evidence-based, and genuinely helpful for the people we support.

Jess is passionate about creating a service where families feel genuinely supported, understood, and cared for. She works closely with her team to ensure every family is met with warmth, patience, and respect, and that support feels safe, nurturing, and responsive to what they need. At the heart of her work is a strong belief that when families feel supported, they are better able to support their children, and that lasting change comes from connection, trust, and care.
