Funding and PACE

Endorsing your NDIS provider

If you work with a registered NDIS provider like Impact Family Services, you’ll need to let the NDIS know so they can connect your plan to us in the PACE system. This is called endorsing your provider.

You can do this:

  • At your NDIS planning or reassessment meeting, or
  • Anytime between plans

If your NDIS plan is already in the new PACE system and Impact Family Services is your provider, just call the NDIA on 1800 800 110 and ask them to endorse

Travel Policy

When our practitioners need to travel to your child (e.g., school or home visit), travel fees apply as follows:

  • Travel is billed from our clinic to your child’s location and back again.
  • The travel fee includes time for the practitioner to:
    • Get to their vehicle
    • Drive to the location
    • Park, sign in (as needed in a school environment), and prepare for the session
    • Return to the clinic, following the same steps a description about this item.

Travel Fees

We strive to keep travel costs as low as possible. If we can group your visit with another offsite session, the travel fee will be shared with another client (client details remain confidential).

Impact Family Services can charge up to 30

minutes for travel to appointments with a client and an additional 30 minutes for travel from an appointment if it is the last or only appointment of the day for the

clinician.

Travel is charged at half the hourly rate.

Non Face to face support

Your child may require extra support from their practitioner by way of non face-to-face supports. Examples of these include:

  • Report / letter writing
  • Assessment scoring
  • Stakeholder or carer liason (e.g. phone calls / meetings / emails)
  • Resource creation (e.g. home programs) ,

Our team allocates Non-Face-To-Face support time to enable your child more opportunities to thrive.
